ok so i have a friend with a Limo- not brand new- but we cld use it most likely for free. They attend Genoa baptist and are very good kind people.

Our chubby little pony pulls a cart- we have dressed it up for weddings- again nothing horribly fancy- but she cld evne hold the reins- you just let me know. I am willing to bring it to your home or you can come here. Or I can take it to Foxridge- kathy Dixon’s farm

    You just let me know.

ALso, if you dont have a party site yet- we cld hold our own American Idol at the party house up the street- decorate 1/2 as christmas and half as hawaiin. But it has a nice stage . The kids have a friend that is a DJ-= going to school at Otterbein.

10- have you contacted Schneiders in westerville or Suisse Shop at Polaris- near BW’s? I bet that they wld allow Faith to come and visit as a guest pastry chef.
15- GReaters wld most likely have Faith over for ice cream.

so let us know which ones have been satisfied.

No. 12 – I’ll help clean and organize! I know you don’t know me, but I’m a mom that has been profoundly touched by your story. Lauryn Byrdy told me about Faith and her amazing courage. I’d love to help you, and while I don’t have a lot of money, I can give you my time. (I also am a photographer that donates my time and talents to Flashes of Hope at Children’s Hospital, so if you’d like a reference, I’ll be happy to provide one). I’m sure you will want to be sure that any strangers entering your life at this challenging time will help not hurt! Lately I have been tested a bit in my life, and your faith and trust in God is awe-inspiring. I am praying for little Faith and for your whole family.

I just emailed Graters asking them if they would be willing to name an icecream ofter Faith.

I knoiw someone who bakes cakes and cup cakes if Schneiders or Suisse Shop wont do it. But I would be shocked if Schneiders wont.

And I would love to come help you clean your house if you would like. ;]

I have a friend who is a owner at Rita’s Italian Ice in Westerville,And I talked to him about Faith and all of you , he would like to do some type of a benefit in honor of Faith, I bet we could get him to name a custard or Italian ice after Faith, I thought of maybe doing it at Westerville Christian Church but of course it’s up to you first and I need to contact my church but Matt wants me to call him and work out the details let me know if this is ok with you. How about Flavor of Faith and maybe people could donate to pick the flavor of the name? Or maybe Chocolate Fountain of Faith?Berry Bits of Faith, just let me know and if you are ok with it i will call Matt at Rita’s and set a date to do this, I think my flavors for her are funny. lol
    Thank You

    Sarah,

I have friends with a home in longbeach, Maryland and they do fossil hunts for Calvert County Museum over there. They would be willing to have you guys join them for a weekend and will gladly take Faith shark tooth hunting. They have the weekends of 04/17, 04/24, and memorial day weekend open. It is about a 7 hour drive to their home but it is easy to get to. They are really good people and Paul & Hillary have been following Faith’s story since the beginning. Let me know if you are interested. Hugs ~ Shonda

So, I live outside of Philly, but it’s only 1.5 hours from NYC. If you guys could get here you are welcome to stay with me! I can feed you, house you, AND get you up and back to NYC. Also, my husband is a Radiation Oncologist at Fox Chase Cancer Center (in his residency), a top cancer hospital in the US, so hopefully that might make you feel better should anything go awry while away from home- if there would be a problem, he should know what to do OR have an immediate contact with someone who does.

umm.. also, my mom lives at the beach in South Carolina, just outside of Charleston. She’s also in the medical field. If you’d be interested in staying there, I’m sure it would work out. And they have MANY horse drawn carriages there, in NYC and in Philly.

Information has been forwarded to me regarding Faith, I work for a large mining company on the East Coast of NC. We remove a overburden to allow us to mine the phosphate deposits that were left here millions of years ago. In the process we screen of the oversize material which contains shark teeth and other marine life fossils. We would like to send Faith what we send to teachers, our Fossil Kit. This will be a 5-gallon pail of the oversize material and I will make sure she has some sharks teeth in the kit to fulfill that wish. I would need a UPS to ship. Curtis Ormond, Potash-Corp, Aurora, NC 252-916-4121. We will pay all shipping and any other charges. Thanks and best if the future.

    SARAH-
You know I played piano for like 12 years!!?? I can give Faith lessons at my parent’s house once a week and she can go home and practice the material. You would need to find a keybord for her. We can start looking (or maybe you can add it to the list).

Also my mother-in-law has a Saab convertable. Now that its nice out, that might be fun for Faith to take a ride in.
    And don’t forget about Missy!
    Love you!

    Hello Sarah,
Matt from Rita’s wants Faith to come into the store before it opens, and to make up a Blendini(Italian custard mixed with Italian flavor ice) and make up her own flavor and her own name, he will then add that to the flavor board and explain to costumers what the flavor means. He also wants to do a benefit at either your church or mine and to possible have one of our preachers serve the Rita’s to the public. Let me know what is a good day and time for you and your family.
    God Bless all of you.

Not being able to even comprehend the hard times your family and especially Faith goes through, the least I could do is to happily offer to help out with the wish list (which I think is an amazing and heartwarming idea). If you don’t have anybody yet to bring you to NYC, I’d offer to pay for a couple of nights in a fancy Hilton Hotel and maybe even get the flight for Faith paid for.
Let me know ASAP if you are interested so I can make arrangements..

My middle daughter Lindsey Quick Lamica went to school with Faith’s mother. We own a 2006 ZO6 black corvette that I would be happy to give her a ride in. I know you have been getting a lot of people volunteering for this one, but I wanted to toss my hat into the ring as well. Also, I went on the Disney Channel website and Taylor Swift fan website and put Faith’s website onto them hoping it will make it’s way to people who might be able to help. I don’t know if what I did will do any good, but it can’t hurt to try. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Just when I was thinking my life was so sad and I felt like giving up, like staying sad for a long time, I saw your page and realized that life hands us so many challenges. I can only give you my prayers and tell you that you are a very brave and beautiful little girl. Thank you for inspiring me and brightening my day. :-) God Bless!

Hi there. I am a volunteer for the Make a Wish foundation. Have you been in contact with anyone from there yet? If not, I can give you contact information as Faith would need to be recommended by family or her doctor. They have great connections and might be able to be of help on some of these fantastic wishes. Faith is in my prayers.

There is a contest going on at our local radio station here in South Bend, IN to get tickets to see American Idol Live. You have to describe why you deserve to see the show in 9 words or less. I’m sure you have a good chance if you enter! I know it’s not “mommy trying out for American Idol” but it sure is close! http://www.u93.com

There is also a small ice cream shop up in Delaware, Ohio that might also do this, for my younger brother and his friends had an ice cream named after them because they frequented the shop so often and gave the owners the idea for that flavor. I will talk with them about maybe helping out.

Well I am now healthy & if we can get Faith setup to ride in a chair or find a way for her to ride comfortably behind me where she can feel the road & wind in her face & hair I will run a 5K with her.

    Dear Parents:
Hang in there. I too had a bran tumor as a child in 1964. Many of the treatments today had not been invented yet so I went through a series of Cobalt trealtments at OSU hospital. At the time I was at Childrens hospital and was transported. After a month in the hospital my father drove me 60 miles each day for treatments and then went to work. They gave me four months to live. After I blew that away they gave me a life expentancy of 25. Today I am 57 and have two married children. I am not trying to give you false hope just to let you know that GOD can do miracles. I wish you only the best but if I can be of any service you can reach me at 614-764-3742 here in Columbus, Ohio.

Faith and loved ones, Jesus loves you. He has paid the price in full for your healing. By His stripes you are healed. You just must claim it. Jesus heals to give God the Glory and you all a witness. Not one in the Bible did Jesus not heal who believed in Him. All of you start praising and thanking Jesus now for His miracle .Continue to do this throughout the day and tell all your friends that he has healed you, God can not lie. He and Jesus are one in the Spirit. We both are witnesses to His power. Jesus healed Mike of severe back problems. Drs. had told him he would be in a wheel chair in 5 years. That was in the year 2000.He healed me of breast cancer in 2001. Without chemo, radiation, drugs,or surgery. I walked out in faith. Cancer is only a name. But Jesus’ name is the only name above all names. Surround yourself with people of strong faith and listen to gospel music and sing to Jesus. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. We will be praying for you,we really know Jesus for we walk with him as disciples to spread the gospel. Jesus is ever faithful and will never leave or forsake you. But you must talk to him as a friend. The Joy of the Lord will be your srength. Your healing will be your testimony as ours. You will see. Pray for others, too Faith. With Love, Michael and Barbara

Dear Faith and Family, If ever you need anyone to talk to you may e-mail us and leave your phone number and we will return your call. Sometimes it is just nice to have someone to help carry our burdens. I remember when I received the diagnosis how frightened I was. I was a Hospice nurse at that time. However, I did not know or have a relationship with Jesus then. But Michael did. His strong faith really gave me much hope to press on and give it all to Jesus. The Lord has given him much wisdom and knowledge of His word. We are to share our spiritual gifts. Just remember , God is in control. He has already seen you all through this trial. He sees the whole picture. He will not put on you more than you can handle. It will only make all of us stronger to have empathy, compassion for others. Allow others to show God’s love via His Son Jesus. You may reach us at jesusismybrother1950@yahoo.com May the Lord keep you all in His loving arms. Michael and Barbara

My goodness what an inspiring little girl you have. Like most other posters, I don’t have a lot of money to help financially, but I do have a 10 year old son who I know would love to be a big brother; if even for a day. We live south of Columbus, but would cherish the opportunity to maybe spend a Saturday or two with Faith. He is excellent with children. Please feel free to contact me via my email proud2bbluelion@yahoo.com or my cell (740) 463-9282.

What an amazing journey. I have read and re-read every word of her story and the posts to date and I must say I have wept…for Faith and your family. Not often are we given the opportunity to share a life changing event such as Faith’s Lesson. I have nothing to offer but the love from one mother to another. I will be thinking of you daily and sending prayers your way.

Hi, I don’t know if this has been poster yet, but for item 19 there is a place at Polaris Mall called Sweet and Sassy. The number is 614-433-9999. The website is http://www.sweetandsassy.com. They have amazing things for little girls to enjoy. They even get to do a runway walk after they get dressed in their costumes. It can get pretty expensive, but I’m sure that the community would love to raise money to help Faith get one more wish from the list.

I have an idea for the fancy tea party. A Japanese fad called ‘Lolita’ has a following in Columbus. The ladies like to dress up kinda like dolls and do things like host tea parties. Here are some example pictures in case you’re curious.

I’m sure that a little girl would love to have a tea party with lots of ladies dressed like dolls! I have a friend who is really into this sort of thing. If you’d like, I can have her find out about tea parties in Columbus, or maybe try to put one together just for Faith.

    Dearest Sarah and Faith,
Being a mom myself for two of which one I lost last year at the age of three, makes me so deeply and profoundly touched with your story. I saw Faith’s wish list and I can teach her to play piano if you want .. I have studied piano and reading music for 8 years and have tutored for three to kids Faith’s age .. I’ll be more than happy to help. Please let me know if you are interested.
I wish if i can reach out and hug you and little Faith. Believe me I know how it is seeing your baby sick. My heart and prayers are all out for you. May God look at you with his merciful eyes to cure and bless your family.

I saw an article in the Dispatch today that Buddy Valastro from Cake Boss will be at the Ohio Theatre this Sunday at 7pm, so I sent an e-mail to the reporter who did the interview to see if he can communicate with Buddy in the hopes of getting Faith on stage to bake with Buddy.

According to the article he has audience members come on stage and help him so this would fulfill one of the items on Faith’s wish list. I don’t know if anything will come of it but it’s worth the effort.

I am a teacher in Westerville heard about Faith from a fellow teacher at Emmerson. Our second grade students want to help Faith meet Rachel Ray and are writing 100 letters to her on Faith’s behalf. We were just wondering if you could answer some questions so we can include the information in our letters?

The kids would like to know: what she likes to cook, what are her favorite seasonings, does she have any food allergies or food she can’t eat, her favorite meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner), favorite kind of food (mexican, italian, etc), and how long has she been a fan of Rachel Ray. If there is anything else you want to tell us to include in our letters, that would be great.

You can email your responses to me at kb3984@aol.com We hope Rachel can’t ignore 100 letters from kids and that with our help, Faith can cross this wish off her list!

She’s a beautiful little girl, and I hope all her wishes are granted. I know for a child it must be hard to think of things you want to do b4 you go. I just hope and pray that the rest of her time her is spent exactly how she wants down to every last second. I have 4 little girls of my own ages 5,3,1 and one due May 14th, and I know I’ll cherish every day alittle more, and pay just a bit more attention just because of Faith. So thanks, thanks for having such courage and strength. God Bless You.

Your story breaks my heart. My son is Faith’s age, if she’s willing to experience what it is like to have a brother for a day – Cole is all yours ;) . He has heard our family talking about your situation and became instantly concerned for Faith. He asked me tonight if she is the girl I’ve been crying over – -I didn’t even realized he noticed my tears when I read your updates. My candy shop, That’s So Sweet, is donating goodie bags for Faith’s Tea Pary @ the Blue Turtle, we are honored to be a part of Faith’s wishes. . .I truly wish there was more I could do for you. I got online tonight to look at the food calendar because i saw Mrs. Taylor’s email. I happened upon Faith’s wishlist, and am sooooo regretful that i hadn’t seen it before tonight. I am an Emerson mom of a 5th grader and I teach piano to 22 of Emerson’s kiddos!!!! !st graders up thru 6th graders now…… ( I know that Faith knows a few of my students for sure: Elizabeth and Katherine Blaise, Liam’s sister Claire Dawson, etc….)I would LOVE it if I could help make Faith’s wish to play piano come true… I teach out of my house here in uptown, but would gladly be available to visit the house if she has a keyboard or piano of her own. The good lord willing, maybe I can get the chance in the near future to sit down and teach her a song or two?……..your family is and has been, in my prayers. Hope to hear from you soon. My 7 year old is really good at making name tags, setting tables, making sure that everyone has a gift, etc. We live in Westerville and would be able to invite up to 25 little girls! We even have a princess chair that would be perfect for Faith. We can organize the party the way she would like to do it – the details are up to her!

I pray that Faith remains strong and happy and that she gets to spend her time doing what she loves.

I see that Faith would like to play the piano. I’ve lived in Westerville for 20 years, have a piano and trained for 8 years to teach piano privately. I would love to teach her (and Mom) how to play some simple pieces, if you would like to get in touch with me.

Hey I was just wondering if there was an updated list of Faith’s wishes. Reading your journal I see that a lot of items on the list have been completed but are not highlighted. I really would like to know what hasn’t been fulfilled so that I can try and help with those items on the list!!!!

I will show her how to play her own composition in one piano “lesson”. You can record it on your camcorder and will have it forever. She will be able to create a beautiful song, using both hands together, I promise. I am a self employed piano teacher with 58 students. I just emailed you, Sarah, and I hope you get it and take me up on this…

As for the wishes, we’re not sure how much we can do, although we’re trying hard and would be overjoyed to help you. I suppose you don’t need an ice cream named after Faith anymore, since Ritas already fulfilled that wish, but we are friends with the owner of Knights Ice Cream, just in case. We’re all praying for Faith, and want you to know that you have our thoughts at hand. I sent her a card and had all of the 5th grade A and T sign it. Hopefully, you got it. Anyways, we’ll let you know right away if we can figure out something we can do for Faith.

P.S. Just a little saying for Faith: Life is filled with possibilities, and nothing is imppossible, just like anything and everything is perfectly, completely and absolutely possible. : )

I have been reading your Caring Bridge posts for quite awhile and this is the first chance I had to check out the wish list, and I am amazed at all the thing she has gotten to do and her complete wish list and offers from all the people who have posted. Faith has been on our church (Westerville UCC) prayer chain since she was diagnosed. Please know that I have had and will continue to have Faith and your entire family in my thoughts and prayers. I am sorry I don’t have anything to offer to check off her wish list. God Bless all of you. Sincerely, Judy Hallman

Hello to Faith and Family, We continue to pray for you all. We wanted to tell you about a book that the Lord has inspired for His children. It has many testimonies that would increase all of you in your trust in Jesus to heal you. You may go to Authorhouse.com, then click on the Bookstore and type in the title: Why I Believe in the Rapture. Your Mommy and Daddy may review what it is about on their computer. You can have you Mommy help you read how Jesus was watching over Michael as he was walking one fall day through leaves to his house. The Lord protected him from being hit by a bad driver.Jesus loves you. Love, Michael and Barb

Hello Faith and Family, We continue to keep you all in our prayers. The Lord recently led me to a couple of excellent books for your Mommy. The titles are Breakthrough and Knockout by Suzanne Somers. Much , much wisdom from many doctors who have treated cancer patients by building up immune systems with excellent results. Some had stage 4 cancers. You will be blessed to go to your library and check them out. Many testimonies. Jesus loves you. Michael and Barb
